This program provides a choice to those who are eligible for care in a licensed residential care facility but who desire to, and can safely remain at home, by providing them with supplemental assistance and case management services.

This program appoints Social Services to serve as Representative Payee for those receiving social security, veteran's benefits, or public assistance who are in jeopardy of being deprived of basic needs. The Representative Payee manages the individual’s finances to ensure their benefits are being used for their needs.

The Adult Home Specialist’s purpose is to provide routine monitoring and technical assistance to local Adult Care Homes to ensure that care is being provided to the residents as set forth by State regulations and standards.

Guardianship services provide advocacy and decision making for adults who have been deemed incompetent by the Clerk of Court. Social Services is appointed as guardian only when there are no other responsible persons able and willing to act on behalf of the adult.
